The company said: “All our designs have a modern, homely, look, and can be used in any room, but embody ‘designed in’ strength and build quality to ensure many years’ trouble-free service.” New for 2012 are ‘innovative additions’ to the company’s ligature-resistant range of furniture, including shelving and mirrors. Tough Furniture explained: “The shelf unit features bold curves and symmetry, to enhance any décor, and maximise integral strength, while helping to minimise ligature risk. The mirror is manufactured using 3 mm mirrored polycarbonate inset into 18 mm Melamine-faced MDF, with a ‘half bull-nosed’ polished edge – not only providing a stylish mirror, but once again contributing to the safety of the environment.”
