Technical training specialist, Develop Training, saw bookings for its Legionella training courses ‘more than double’ between May and June.
While delegate numbers had ‘risen steadily’ since March, Tony Green, business manager, Water Systems, attributes June’s ‘significant jump’ to the outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease in Edinburgh. He said: “We recently spoke out about the need for industry to react, and it seems people have listened. Proper maintenance and training should be priorities 100% of the time, not just following a serious incident.”
