Modular solution for Leicester General

Working in partnership with a leading bespoke modular building manufacturer, Marchant Walker, the design and build contract included the complete turnkey solution. While the modular theatre was in production, MTX was on site preparing the groundworks for the bases and drains. Just eight weeks after the instruction to proceed, MTX craned in a total of 14 modules. This then allowed the company a further eight weeks on site to complete the internal finishes and commissioning on time and within budget.

The entire design including building layout, building specification and all mechanical and electrical services installation and specification was carried out in-house, all fully in accordance and complying with the HTMs, HBNs, NHS specifications and client requirements. The new theatre suite incorporates an ultra clean ventilation system and a comprehensive fully compliant air conditioning system providing a conditioned environment throughout the suite.
