Medical development specialist Oakapple Primary Care, has handed over a 3,000 ft2 state-of-the-art “health village” in Fleetwood.
The new West View Health Village incorporates three doctors’ surgeries, a pharmacy, a dental surgery and a district nurses’ office, as well as facilities for ancillary services. It also has a café within the central atrium where patients and visitors can relax. The multi-million pound development, which is on the site of a former public house and car park, was designed by Oakapple Primary Care in association with the GPs and Wyre Primary Care Trust and took about one year to build.
Oakapple Primary Care has been given the go-ahead to build a new £2 million state-of-the-art medical centre in Batley. It will be the new home for the Grove House Surgery. Oakapple is now securing an accessible site on which to build the 1,000 m2 medical centre where, it is intended, there will be a pharmacy on-site.
