The IFHE’s 2013 Council and Executive Committee Meetings will take place at 9.00 am on 9 and 10 September respectively at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Putrajaya, Malaysia (pictured), just before the BEAM (Biomedical Engineering Association of Malaysia) 2013 Hospital Engineering Conference and Exhibition gets under way at the venue.
Themed ‘Empowering Facility Management in Healthcare Engineering’, the two-day conference and exhibition opens at 9.00 am on 11 September, and is expected to attract delegates and visitors from the healthcare estates and facilities and associated communities throughout the world. The organisers have also arranged a varied range of social events and sight-seeing trips around Kuala Lumpur for Council members and their partners. They add: “We have invited local and international authors and speakers to submit original papers on the conference themes, which are:
• Empowering facility management professionals.
• Establishing sustainability in healthcare facilities.
• Enhancing healthcare system through technology.
The abstracts of papers must be submitted in English, as an A4 Microsoft Word document, by 15 May, 2013.
