Family firm’s further success

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, an established user of Intastop’s door and wall protection systems, has selected the company’s protective impact wrapping for existing and new doors during a refurbishment programme within the Doncaster Royal Infirmary’s medical imaging department.

The requirement was to wrap each door entirely in PVC-u cladding in a particular grey to match existing doors. The refurbishment was commissioned to provide space for new medical imaging equipment. Sarah Barsby, marketing director, Intastop, said: “We were delighted to win another contract with the Trust – a true testament to the quality and integrity of our products and service. Located in heavily trafficked areas, the doors needed to be tremendously hard-wearing, and, with several in clinical areas, easy-to-clean. Our Class O fire-rated Impact Protection Sheet was particularly suited to this job.” Paul McGuinness, architectural project officer for Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals, said: “The contractors had used an alternative door protection product, but, disappointed with its quality, we asked that the doors be wrapped in the Intastop product instead. We have commissioned Intastop products previously, and have always been entirely happy with the quality, service, and professionalism, of both the products, and the team.”
