Following some 20 years’ successful trading in Germany and mainland Europe, plastics media specialist, Hewitech, has set up a subsidiary, Hewitech UK, in Cheltenham, and plans local production soon.
Headed by director Dave Fozzard, who has extensive experience in the sector, Hewitech UK says it is ‘well placed to take a significant share of the UK market in waste water treatment and storm water management’. Its parent company, based in Ochtrup, Germany, is ‘an innovator of recycled polypropylene media, for applications ranging from cooling towers to waste water treatment’.
