A new online training resource, ‘The Sentinel Academy’, launched by ‘experts in energy efficiency’, Sentinel, ‘makes instantly available some of the 25 years of expertise the Sentinel team has accumulated, highlighting the benefits of best practice water treatment for central heating systems’.
It provides free ‘essential training’ and resources to installers, merchant staff, ‘and anybody keen to know more about the problems which can arise without proper water treatment’.
Two interactive training modules cover scale and corrosion, highlighting the causes and symptoms, and tackling each using water treatment, and conclude with a small test to help users confirm their understanding of best practice. Also available are short videos, case studies, and downloadable information sheets. Sentinel’s UK trade marketing manager, Daniel Cheung, said: “We wanted to give our customers the resources to allow them to better understand and confidently recommend quality water treatment to their customers, and to be able to identify the right product for each job.”
