Ian Sams has been named MD and general manager for Eaton-Williams Group, which provides climate-controlled solutions for environments including hospitals, commercial offices, and data centres.
The announcement was made by Mark De Vincent, president of CES Group. Eaton-Williams is an affiliate of CES Group, reportedly North America’s largest manufacturer of custom air-handling equipment.
“Ian Sams will help us strengthen our UK-based operations and European sales activities to capitalise on more European market opportunities, especially in data centres and high performance computing applications,” explained Mark De Vincent. “He will be based in Edenbridge, Kent, reporting to me.”
With over 30 years’ experience in the air and fluid movement sector of building services, Ian Sams has held senior positions in engineering, manufacturing operations, sales, and marketing management. Most recently COO and MD of Trox UK, he replaces Gerry Stapley, who has retired as Eaton-Williams MD after 23 years with the company.
