IHEEM and Eastwood Park will launch a new competency-based programme for Authorised Persons and Authorising Engineers.
The Gloucestershire training centre’s CEO, John Thatcher, will speak in the conference alongside IHEEM’s CEO Julian Amey, outlining the programme, and giving examples related to Authorising Engineers (Decontamination).
Eastwood Park’s independent technical training and learning opportunities, claimed to be unique to the healthcare sector, will be fully represented at the exhibition. General manager, Craig Nugent said: “Designed and delivered to statutory compliance and guidance outlined in HTMs, CfPPs, Codes of Practice, and European and international standards, our training and courses are meeting hospitals’ specific needs. Our portfolio includes our new Hospital Engineering Apprentice summer school, for which we are already taking bookings for 2015. With a unique hospital training and showcase facility currently under construction (see pages 51-56), we will soon also offer opportunities over and above training for those manufacturing and selling healthcare equipment and support services.”
