The Fire Protection Association (the FPA) promotes fire safety within the industry, commerce, and the wider public.
“We are one of the UK’s most respected providers of fire risk assessments and fire consulting services” the FPA explained.
“Our Fire Risk Assessments focus on life safety to meet the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order in England, and property protection to reduce possible life loss and property damage.” The FPA says that ‘ensuring appropriate fire compartmentation is one of the most effective, but often least considered, means of protecting a premise and its occupants’. The Association added: “The FPA’s compartmentation surveys are an essential part of ensuring that compartmentation is not only present, but also suitable for the circumstances and property. We can undertake non-invasive and, if required, invasive, surveys to ensure correct compartmentation.”
