ECEX has appointed Steve Bell as manager for the business’s Air Intake Screens arm.
His previous roles include 14 years with a major filter company, where he introduced, specified, and installed, similar screen products.
John Grenville, ECEX’s MD, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Steve Bell to the firm; his background and drive means he will be a real asset to the business. Sales of ECEX Air Intake Screens already exceed 10 per cent of our revenue, but there is so much more potential – at the moment we really are only touching ‘the tip of the iceberg’.”
ECEX air intake screens are ‘longlasting, weather-resistant filters designed specifically for high velocity airflow applications such as chillers, dry air coolers, air-handling units, cooling towers, and air-conditioning units’. The company said: “The screens offer a simple way to save estates and facilities managers both money and maintenance time, by preventing airborne debris from clogging internal coil fins, perishable filters, and other components.”
