The mere mention of a hospital visit can conjure up a range of unwelcome emotions – usually a mixture of anxiety, apprehension, and even dread. Spare a thought, however, for those who work within our hospitals, and the challenges they face on a daily basis – for example the security teams who work tirelessly to ensure that patients, clinical, and non-clinical staff, and visitors, can go about their business in a hospital or other healthcare facility in a safe and secure environment.
A hospital must safeguard its reputation and the safety of its patients, visitors, and staff. To achieve this it needs to work closely with an experienced security company to provide a professional, reliable healthcare security team. Security needs will, of course, vary depending on the hospital or other healthcare facility involved. The larger the hospital, the more complex the situations it can encounter, with those working in inner city hospitals and mental healthcare facilities facing some of the biggest challenges.
