Cable management systems manufacturer, Legrand, which says ‘there should be no compromise when it comes to health and safety in healthcare environments’, will showcase its EZ-Path firestop devices.
The company said: “Data cabling makes up a huge proportion of all building cabling solutions, never more so than in a healthcare environment. For each and every cable installed, however, the use of firestop materials is a prerequisite to ensure staff and patient safety.
In high-traffic openings, where regular changes are needed to data cables, a quick and easy firestop solution is imperative.”
On stand A5, Legrand will show EZ-Path, which it describes as ‘a simple, box-like mechanical device that can be fitted into the wall or floor aperture, and is available in three sizes, ready to be installed as a single unit, or grouped together’. Plates are also supplied with intumescent seals to ensure a compliant installation without additional firestop materials.
