After 30 years Tesseract says its service management/facilities management software ‘still leads the field with both functionality and technology’, while, with installations in over 25 countries, it has become ‘truly international’.
The latest version – ‘fully browser-based from end to end’ – can run ‘on any browser and any device, whether desktop, laptop or tablet’. Tesseract also offers its software in SaaS (Software as a service) form, with only a monthly fee payable, and no hardware or software purchase.
An enhanced Remote Engineer Access (REA) module will now ‘run on all phones, tablets, and laptops’, with both online and offline capabilities. Tesseract added: “Working in conjunction with REA is a job optimisation module. Users can use the Tesseract diary for scheduling jobs, and get the Diary Assist to optimise the planning based on availability, cost, distance, and skillsets, while a GPS tracking system can monitor where the engineers are.”
