Varied conference topics discussed at the CIBSE Building Performance Conference and Exhibition next month at London’s QEII Exhibition Centre.
'Adapting the UK building stock to a changing climate’, ‘Security of building systems and networks’, ‘Using BIM in building operations’, ‘Lighting, wellbeing, and comfort in buildings’, ‘Legislation & building performance’, and ‘Reliability centred maintenance’, will be among the varied conference topics discussed at the CIBSE Building Performance Conference and Exhibition next month at London’s QEII Exhibition Centre.
The IHEEM-supported event will take place from 3-4 November, and will be themed ‘Working Together for Resilient, Efficient and Healthy Buildings’.
Following CIBSE President Nick Mead’s call for closer working between the many building services disciplines, the conference will focus on ‘how collaboration can more effectively deliver better building performance’.
Giving the first day keynote will be The Rt. Hon John Gummer, Lord Deben (pictured), chairman of the Committee on Climate Change, and the UK’s longestserving Environment Secretary to date.
