Plumbing, heating, and engineering product specialist, Pegler Yorkshire, says its new Warranty Plus scheme was created after research showed ‘a need for warranty on a complete system, rather than individual components’.
Pegler explained: “Encompassing 13 of our brands, the process offers support for projects over £250,000. It begins at the initial design stage, and includes an expert design commentary on system expansion and contraction, a commissioning ability report considering valve sizing and positioning, plus compliance with BIM, and additional analysis on material options and jointing technology.”
Stage two is the Installation and Training process – Pegler Yorkshire is ‘committed to training personnel whether on site at our own facilities, at the client’s site, or via CPDaccredited training courses or online modules’.
The final stage – Commissioning and Aftercare – offers system water conditioning, comprising fixed UV bacterial control and full in-line filtration, and thermal imaging/ ultrasonic flow rate testing. Pegler said: The whole process is backed by a maintenance programme with a full support maintenance manual, and an optional ongoing package for up to 25 years.”
