Static Systems rewarded

Export success and commitment to the State of Qatar’s healthcare sector is bringing further rewards to Static Systems Group, based in Staffordshire.

Following the company’s sponsorship at the Qatar International Medical Congress, sales director, Phil Wade received a commemorative plaque from the chairman of the organising committee, Dr Abdulah Wahab Al Musleh, who is also chairman of the Emergency & EMS Department of the Hamad Medical Corporation.

During the past six years and more recently through its local representatives – Al Hamad Trading – Static Systems has provided nurse call and bedhead service trunking systems to over 600 beds at three of Qatar’s leading hospitals. An early contract for Static Systems Group’s provided a specially adapted nurse call system to the 12-bed VIP area of the Hamad Hospital in Doha and this order was quickly followed by orders for 50 further beds in the same hospital. Within 18 months of the first order, Level Five of the hospital took pre-assembled horizontal trunking systems for more than 100 beds.

The company’s reputation grew rapidly in the region and orders flowed in from other hospitals including nurse call for 250 beds divided between Rumaillah and Al Amal hospitals, and a 100-bed nurse call system with flat wall trunking for the Northern Area Hospital. Approximately 100 beds are being refurbished with new nurse call and bedhead services trunking for the Accident and Emergency unit at the Hamad Hospital.
