SUEZ Water Purification Systems has supplied a water purification system with remote monitoring functionality to the Rondebosch Medical Centre in Cape Town, South Africa.
The SUEZ Elite MediQA 1000 is a double pass reverse osmosis water purification system, able to provide up to 1,000 litres of purified water/hour to ISO 13959:2014 standard quality. It features advanced data logging, plus semi-automated chemical cleaning and disinfection of the reverse osmosis membranes.
The company said: “At Rondebosch Medical Centre, the system feeds a new dialysis clinic with ultrapure water. Advanced technology for remote monitoring of live data will enable those managing the system to ensure that water quality is always of the highest standard, and provide full traceability. The unit can also continue to deliver pure water for dialysis even if one of the dual streams fails, via activation of a bypass facility.”
