Emerson Network Power has extended its Himod series of high performance air conditioners available under the Liebert Hiross brand with the introduction of Himod M. Designed for all environments requiring high dissipation of sensitive heat, the series will soon be completed with the introduction of Himod L. With cooling capacities between 25 and 80 kW, the Himod M is ideal for a range of applications including hospitals.
Himod M can be supplied in a freecooling version, providing great benefits in terms of power saving. In cold climates, this feature provides cooling capacity by exploiting the outdoor winter temperature, without using the compressor. Depending on climate conditions, freecooling units can achieve up to 30% energy saving.
