BOC Healthcare says its Cryogenic Safety Course ‘gives everyone working with liquid nitrogen the skills and knowledge needed to handle a potentially dangerous element safely and with confidence’.
The company’s dedicated team visits customers to deliver the BTEC-accredited training on-site, ‘enabling hospitals to plan training around other commitments, and guaranteeing the least possible disruption to patient care’. BOC Healthcare is currently offering the training with a 10% discount if booked by the year-end. It said: As the UK’s leading supplier of medical gases, BOC Healthcare is ideally placed to deliver this cryogenic safety course. All members of the training team are excellent communicators and highly experienced in working with liquid nitrogen, so can address any queries attendees may have in a clear, knowledgeable manner. The course combines tuition, course notes, practical demonstration and assessment, with the varied content, ensuring that the session is lively, interesting, and informative.”
The three-hour course will cover ‘all key issues related to handling liquid nitrogen’, including potential hazards, equipment, storage and handling, safe working practices, risk assessment, legislation and Codes of Practice, and emergency procedures.
