Visitors to this month’s Healthcare Estates 2016 show in Manchester will be able to pick up a copy of a special Reader Survey Report detailing the results of a survey launched by IHEEM and Wandsworth Healthcare in HEJ in May
Also disseminated online, the survey sought healthcare estates and engineering professionals’ views on topics ranging from difficulties in recreating new talent, to the priorities when buying new capital equipment, as well as on a range of wider societal and demographic issues impacting on the profession.
The Health Estate Journal and Wandsworth Healthcare Reader Survey,
an attractively, graphically illustrated eight-page report, will be available both on the IHEEM stands and in the Wandsworth ‘VIP area’ at the flagship IHEEM event. Please do pick up a copy – the results are an interesting snapshot of the views of professionals working in a sector which, like the NHS as a whole, is under significant financial pressures, but also faces a number of issues particular to the estate – from the need to make the best use of existing buildings, and how best to adapt existing building stock changing models of care, to identifying the most effective ways to lower carbon emissions, and cut energy consumption. The Report is a ‘must-read’.
