BOC Healthcare says its ‘total turnkey gas facilities management solution’ ensures that hospital liquid oxygen supply systems are always installed correctly, are fully compliant, and ‘operate with optimum efficiency’.
The BOC Healthcare team negotiates and manages all aspects of the work, ‘so that at every stage, risk is reduced and inconvenience taken away from the client’. Close liaison with the AP (MGPS) ensures that he or she has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the system being installed. The company added: “With long-standing supplier and contractor relationships, we are ideally placed to get the best deal and service. Projects are delivered compliant, resilient, and future-proof, with the emphasis on safety.”
Having visited the site and met estates personnel, BOC Healthcare’s design team will develop a bespoke, HTM 02-01-compliant solution, including:
- Vessel and pipeline system sizing calculations.
- Flow rate and pressure drop calculations.
- Plinth design.
- Selection of location (in line with the BCGA Code of Practice 36 and other relevant guidance).
- Operational requirements such as alarms, maintenance, and use
Once its in-house technical department has approved the design, it will manage the installation of the supply systems and pipeline, and, on completion, will undertake all testing and commissioning.
