Pineapple Contracts has extended its contract furniture range with four new products.

The new Esto and Vida recliners are ‘ideal’ for Oncology, Maternity, or Neonatal wards, and facilities for elderly and less mobile users. Esto, an easy-to-move, lightweight recliner with antibacterial lacquer finish, is ‘the ideal chair for areas where space is a premium’. Non-marking castors and brakes are available, with both flame-retardant and MRSA-resistant fabrics. The Esto chair has ‘excellent posture support, and a beautiful wave design to the sides and arms’.

The Vida recliner (pictured) features a full lie-flat position for relaxation and rest, and optional riser-assist movement to aid standing for the less mobile, and reduce lifting injuries. The wing-back design gives optimum comfort and support. Also available in flame-retardant and MRSAresistant fabrics, and with antibacterial lacquer finishes on timber arms, it features both single and dual action operation, allowing the seat footrest and back to be operated independently.

The Rubus sofa, ‘for challenging environments’, features modern styling, with optional reinforcement throughout. Available as a chair, or a two- or threeseater sofa, it incorporates ‘chrome feet that won’t rust’, and a fixed-back design.

The Rondo, also available as a chair and 2.5 seater sofa, features ‘an eye-catching chrome ski leg’. The additional height clearance ‘brings more light in to the environment, and aids access for cleaning and hoists’. Its low back improves staff’s observation ability.
