As a manufacturer and supplier of high quality alarm systems for over 35 years, SAS has extensive experience in providing protection and safety for staff and service-users.
Its systems are widely used throughout the UK and across Europe in psychiatric facilities, acute hospitals, children’s homes, care and residential homes, specialist schools, and medical centres – ‘anywhere where staff may feel vulnerable at their place of work’.
SAS said: “Our staff attack alarm systems are designed to allow staff to summon assistance by activating a personal alarm transmitter. The exact location is then immediately displayed on LCD indicator panels in key positions throughout the building, and/or portable devices such as pagers or smartphones.”
The company’s’ latest products/ systems include:
- The upgraded Red-Alert II staff alarm platform, offering a variety of integration options into third-party safety systems such as CCTV and doortop alarms, and enhanced interfacing to alarm communication devices, including alarm messaging to smartphones over 4G or Wi-Fi.
- Wired or wireless anti-vandal, antiligature, nurse and patient call points.
- Connection onto the IP network for web-based alarm data logging and remote access.
- Personal alarm devices with a battery life of over six months on a single charge. These also automatically inform staff leaving a building without returning their alarm device.
