Oxford Clinic chooses new Grahame Gardner uniforms

The recently opened Oxford Clinic for Specialist Surgery has selected the new P785 tunic from Grahame Gardner for its nursing staff.

The Oxford Clinic for Specialist Surgery is a private Orthopaedic Hospital on the campus of the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. It is a partnership between Oxford based Consultants and Ascent Health, an international hospital management company. The Oxford Clinic was keen to differentiate themselves as it is a new entity and director of nursing Camilla Wiley said: “There has been an investment of around £2 million in the development of the Oxford Clinic and it was important that our image came up to scratch. We are a modern Clinic and wanted our garments to have a contemporary style, therefore this new design was ideal for both style and comfort.”

The Oxford Clinic chose to have the garments produced in four colours for grade identification, Lilac, Pastel Blue, Dolphin Grey and Navy. They also chose to complement this style with front-of-house garments, produced in black with white piping, resulting in a cohesive and professional uniform style.

The P785 tunic incorporates a mandarin style collar and side opening detail. In addition to the fashionable pearl press studs, the tunic also has three internal buttons to give the wearer greater security. Available in nine stock colours, the tunic has been warmly received by healthcare workers seeking a less traditional approach to their uniforms.

The Oxford Clinic treats patients for surgery on an inpatient and day surgery basis and provides also out-patient physiotherapy. The Clinic has undergone a major refurbishment of the in-patient ward and the construction of two new state-of-the-art theatres designed specifically with the treatment of muscular-skeletal conditions in mind.
