Advanced surface protection specialist, BioCote has entered a technology partnership to provide hygienic protection for specialist papers and boards manufactured by James Cropper Specialist Papers. These materials are suitable for the production of stationery, case notes, general literature and packaging, and will be of particular interest to companies supplying paper and board-based products for use in the medical and healthcare markets.
The patented anti-microbial protection is incorporated into the paper and board materials during the manufacturing process. The range of products, called Docugard, is unique to James Cropper and BioCote protection can be offered on any material produced at the mill. All products will be made to order only, and can be supplied in a specific colour, grammage weight and sheet size to suit customers’ requirements.
