Forbo Flooring Systems will ‘very shortly’ announce an update to its ‘ever-popular’ vinyl safety flooring collection, ‘Step’.
The company explained: “With an increased use of safety floors within the healthcare sector, the industry is demanding new, more contemporary designs to help create warm, welcoming, and healing environments. This Spring our Step collection will see new colour palettes and designs launched, and inspiring digital prints – based on the latest interior trends – while still delivering the very best in sustainable slip resistance.”
Forbo’s Step collection has Step safety crystals embedded throughout the wear layer, providing a fully slipresistant solution. The entire collection meets with the prevailing UK slip standards – wet Pendulum test >36 and >20 surface roughness, and EN1385 for sustainable slip resistance. Step’s PUR Pearl protective top coat layer optimises appearance retention, ‘even under high traffic conditions’, and protects against scratches. The flooring is stain and chemical-resistant.
