The University of Bedfordshire recently celebrated the opening of a new nursing simulation suite at its Luton campus.
Designed to replicate a general hospital ward, it includes an operating theatre, pre-op, post-op, and critical care areas, and neonatal facilities.
Visitors had the chance to see the facilities in action as Healthcare Practice students got to grips with the industry-standard equipment. The suite will give Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedic Science, and Operating Department Practice students an authentic environment in which to develop their skills, alongside classroom and work placement settings.
