Intercall says its Touch series ‘builds on the success of the best-selling Intercall 600 and 700 Series’.
The company said: “The Touch Series introduces the Care Card, a low-cost RFID card used to identify who is attending calls. Staff are assigned their own card for checking in and out of rooms as they interact with patients, facilitating locating and tracking colleagues in a busy building.”
Intercall added: “All data is logged, providing a clear insight into events and activity, and allowing informed decisions to be made, while reassuring patients and their families of the care given.” The company offers a Safeguard solution ‘to balance care with minimal intrusion’. It explained: “Safeguard monitors a patient’s environment, alerting staff to any wandering resident that has got out of bed. It automatically illuminates a light in the resident’s room, reducing fall risk. Thermal imaging technology greatly improves reliability over traditional methods such as pressure mats.”
