The first ever HEFMA National Awards winners were announced to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the organisation’s annual Conference and Exhibition in Blackpool recently.
The Awards were introduced to recognise and pay tribute to teams and individuals across the country making an outstanding contribution to NHS facilities and estate management.
Project managers, the judging panel said, should be able to create an environment for success and provide the drive and impetus to innovate and achieve. The winner was deemed to have technical and management skills, a high degree of communication, and the ability to ensure the objectives of the project are met.
