Functional safety and ease of maintenance are a prerequisite for healthcare facilities. where systems must be kept running smoothly and germ-free.
Conti+ says its new CNX water management system – ‘an innovative browser-based software system offering customisation for individual client needs’ – is ‘scaleable to the most extensive healthcare facility’, with working installations ‘already controlling germ contamination across Europe’. The company said: “Up to 64 or 150 devices can be connected to one control box, with settings such as hygienic flush and thermal disinfection controlled via the intuitive software. Valve units can be configured in tree, line, or star topology, all from just one unit.
“Whether a regular or date-driven routine is required, various sanitary rooms, device groups, or individual fittings, can be controlled individually or by group. Multiple programs can be stored per single fitting, while the simplest parameter maintenance is also possible for a large number of fittings thanks to multiple program selection.” The system is reportedly easy to use via PC, tablet, or smartphone. Easy-tounderstand colour-coded messages and notifications keep facilities managers up to date in real time, enabling any anomalies to be investigated quickly and efficiently. Complementary functions such as a cleaning or ‘operation stop’ complete the valve management.
