Dräger has announced a new addition to its ‘family’ of Movita ceiling supply units for operating theatres – the Movita Lift Strong support arm.
The company says the new Movita Lift Strong allows anaesthetic workstations weighing up to 300 kg to be flexibly positioned clear of the floor. Product manager, Dirk Aschemann, said: “Many new medical devices are very heavy – not least because of the increasing complexity of anaesthesia workstations. Positioning and operating these devices in a flexible yet stable way is now possible with the new support arm. This is ensured by the built-in lift motor, which now features more power and a reinforced joint. Undesired spring-back is thus prevented when the arm is adjusted.
“The Movita Lift Strong also offers the usual convenience of a ‘standard’ Movita, such as device docking points with electronic coupling monitoring, easy-to-clean surfaces, and sophisticated cable management for simplified hygiene.”
