Bristan has announced what it says is ‘an important change’ to the design of its existing range of basin mixer taps, with the addition of Neoperl 5 L/min aerators.
The alteration ensures that the amount of water delivered by the flow regulators is now ‘completely in alignment with BREEAM requirements’, while simultaneously enhancing the look and feel of the water flow.
Bristan said: “The aerator is a small attachment that fits onto the outlet of the tap. These water-saving devices will control the amount of water that flows through the tap without affecting the water pressure as they mix the water with air. For contractors, the process of specifying products is simpler. With the change applying to all stock moving forwards, Bristan basin mixers can be selected when using The Green Guide Calculator to ensure that they are meeting daily water usage targets, as defined by water authorities and the Water Label scheme.”
The change will affect ‘the most popular ranges’ of taps from the Bristan collection.
