For his article titled ‘Questioning oxygen flow rate guidance’, published in the August 2004 issue of Health Estate Journal, Stuart Ward of Guangdong Province, China, has been awarded the Northcroft Silver Medal.
The prizes were presented to the authors by Richard Nugent, IHEEM president, at the Institute’s annual general meeting held recently in London.
The Northcroft Silver Medal is awarded to the author of the Health Estate Journal article considered to have contributed most to the advancement of hospital engineering. The award is made annually, and all IHEEM members are encouraged to submit potentially award-winning articles for publication in HEJ. The John Bolton Award is for the best Health Estate Journal article by a member aged 35 or under.
