Following ‘a rigorous evaluation’, E-CO says the Infection Prevention Society (IPS) panel has ‘officially endorsed’ its Ultra Violet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) technology.
E-CO CEO, Hillary Spicer, said: “The need for reduction of airborne distribution of bacteria, viruses, and moulds, and effective surface decontamination, are now well recognised. Our UVGI products have been designed for enhanced environmental decontamination of surfaces, and to reduce the redistribution of airborne microorganisms spread by airconditioning and ventilation systems.”
E-CO, a leading supplier of high-intensity UVGI solutions, added: “Using worldrenowned UVGI technology from SterilAire, we implement indoor air quality improvement strategies and programmes for healthcare providers, as well as commercial, military, and institutional premises. Our high-intensity germicidal UVGI arrays are effective at significantly reducing microorganisms, including viruses, bacteria, and mould spores, from air-flows and surfaces directly subjected to UVGI light rays.
“Our UVGI arrays can be installed into air-conditioning systems, fixed as ceiling units to decontaminate rooms when unoccupied, or are available as mobile units..”
