Healthcare Facilities Management 2019, a one-day event combining a topical conference highlighting some of the biggest challenges for estates and facilities management personnel, with an exhibition showcasing innovative products and solutions to address them, takes place this month at the National Conference Centre in Solihull. The event, being held on 12 June, and sponsored by IHEEM, will ‘bring together 250 healthcare FM experts to consider and debate the challenges and view best practice solutions’. Areas covered will range from cleaning standards and transport/car parking, to managing food waste, fire safety, and security.

The organisers of Healthcare Facilities Management 2019, Knowlex, promise that the event will ‘take delegates on a journey’, focusing on some exemplars of success, and at others ‘facing more challenges’. They say: “Our purpose will be to unearth information and gain insights around facilities management. In a time of change and uncertainty, healthcare facilities providers and managers are facing the major challenge of improving efficiencies with ever-decreasing budgets. At this conference, we will consider the challenges and view best practice.”
