A senior project manager at Essentia Trading reports on the built environment and estates consultancy’s project management of two recently completed contrasting and challenging refurbishment projects involving children’s facilities at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital.
Snow Fox, meanwhile, is a multi-use ward with the ability to operate day and night to meet demand for paediatric care. The Snow Fox project forms part of a wider Evelina London expansion programme, focused on the strategic development of a world-class specialist centre.
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust instructed Essentia Trading Limited (ETL), the built environment and estates consultancy, to manage both refurbishment projects. The joint project management team consisted of ETL project managers (PMs) working on behalf of Evelina London, and client-side project managers from GSTT.
