Ailsa Clews, an employee of food and facilities management services provider Sodexho Healthcare, has been awarded the title of Sodexho Healthcare Manager of the Year 2007 for her ongoing hard work and commitment as hotel services manager at the Gilbert Bain Hospital, Shetland Islands.
Ailsa Clews has worked for Sodexho Healthcare in the Shetland Islands in various roles since 1992, steadily working her way up from quality control officer to assistant hotel services manager to overall hotel services manager. She is responsible for around 100 Sodexho staff and ensures the smooth running of hotel services at both Gilbert Bain Hospital and Montfield Hospital and three health centres which provide healthcare for the 22,500 Shetland Islands residents. Ailsa Clews was presented with her award by Iain Anderson, managing director, Sodexho Healthcare.
