Archus, the healthcare infrastructure specialist, has announced the opening of its latest office in Toronto, and confirmed the appointment of Christine Chadwick as managing director of Archus Canada.
The strategic infrastructure specialist says the move marks a significant milestone in its strategy of driving growth through investment in new markets, and follows a £9 million investment from experienced growth capital investors, BGF, announced earlier this year. The news follows appointments for several projects across multiple Canadian provinces, including Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, and Nova Scotia.
Christine Chadwick has over 30 years’ healthcare experience, including planning and delivering hospital and health infrastructure projects worldwide. In her new role, she will lead the company’s work providing a full range of consultancy and advisory services to Canadian healthcare clients.
She said: “It’s a privilege to be leading the establishment and growth of Archus in Canada, where we have already developed a strong track record in delivering our services to a number of valued clients for several major health infrastructure projects. The capabilities and expertise of our globally based team enable us to draw on and share worldwide best practice and drive innovation. I am very much looking forward to continuing the great work we have already started, and to building long-lasting relationships with like-minded partners who share our vision for creating world-leading health systems across Canada which improve the health and wellbeing of all citizens.”
Richard Darch, Group CEO of Archus, commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Christine to Archus. Her technical expertise, breadth of international healthcare experience, and passion for change, innovation, and collaboration, will be a tremendous asset as we expand our services in Canada. The establishment of Archus Canada and our first physical Canadian office location in Toronto is a pivotal moment in our journey, supporting our ambitions for global growth, alongside the creation of better healthcare outcomes, and fulfilling our mission to shape the future of healthcare.”
