Thermography company becomes affiliate

Thermal imaging survey specialist Pixel Thermographics has become an IHEEM company affiliate.

The Macclesfield company claims thermography is the leading non-invasive, non-intrusive and non-contact predictive maintenance tool in use today, having proven “invaluable” in identifying faults or problems in buildings and building structures before they culminate in an unplanned breakdown or cause significant damage.

In the healthcare sector Pixel Thermographics uses thermography principally to survey electrical systems, building energy losses and water leaks. When surveying electrical systems, power systems need neither be switched off nor touched. Faults are classified and highlighted within a report, which also proposes recommended remedial actions – enabling the client to plan in repairs before a costly breakdown occurs.

Building energy loss surveys allow identification of areas of heat loss (pictured), while building and flat roof surveys determine points of water ingress, which Pixel Thermographics says are often some distance from where a “leak” ultimately appears.

The company adds: “Company affiliate membership of IHEEM is extremely important to us in further demonstrating our professionalism and expertise.”
