Architect-led building design firm,
Building Design Partnership (BDP) has
made a number of new appointments as
part of its strategy to re-enter the
healthcare sector.
Architects Dan Smyth and Jennifer Meiring have been appointed as company director and profession director respectively. Dan Smyth recently moved to Birmingham where he has played an important role in the QE Hospital project as well as leading BDP’s new venture in the city. Jennifer Meiring has played a lead role in the company’s successful strategy to re-enter the healthcare sector where the depth of her specialist knowledge has proven to be invaluable.
Peter Scorer, also an architect, has been appointed profession director. He is leading the team responsible for the Leicester Royal Infirmary as well as the overall clinical planning strategy.
Architect Marcus Wilkins recently joined BDP as a profession director to be based in Birmingham. He is currently dividing his time between important roles on both Birmingham and Leicester healthcare projects.
Mike Guppy joined the Birmingham office as an architect associate. He is the lead designer for the Moseley Hall Mental Health building.
Architect Sarah Hall has been appointed an associate. She is based in the Bristol office working predominantly in healthcare since joining BDP in 2002. She has been working on the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth.
