Priorclave has launched its latest
Rectangular Section Vertical (RSV)
Power-Door Priorclaves featuring the
unique, patent-applied-for “Stay-put”
hydraulic drive system that powers the
sliding door.
The safety features are significant as the “Stay-put” locking geometry ensures the pressure door remains totally locked and sealed, even in the event of a complete hydraulic or electrical failure when the door can be opened only by trained staff through a manual procedure that overrides the hydraulics. The mechanism is further limited by thermal and pressure locks.
Priorclave’s hydraulic system offers the distinct advantage over most pneumatic closure systems in that the door moves to compress the seal rather than the more vulnerable seal being moved to form a seal against the door. The Priorclave approach delivers far greater safety and efficiency with minimal gasket replacement and far less associated downtime. A three-year warranty on the door-sealing gasket is offered. The space-saving, compact frames with large, rectangular chambers provide capacities ranging from 230 ltrs up to 700 ltrs.
All RSV units are designed and manufactured to ISO BS EN 9001:2000 – the same high specification is applied to all other autoclaves in the company’s portfolio.
