Eurofins Food & Water Testing UK has acquired Isopharm Laboratory, a ‘premier provider of accredited testing services across the UK healthcare decontamination and validation market’.
Established in 2018, Isopharm Laboratory brings a modern approach to water testing, ensuring decontamination and infection control in both hospital and domestic environments. With ‘state-of-the-art’ facilities and techniques, and temperature-controlled transport, Isopharm reportedly delivers ‘outstanding and reliable testing services to sterile service departments, including endoscopy, theatres, and domestic settings’.
Isopharm now forms part of Eurofins Water Hygiene Testing UK group. Eurofins Food & Water Testing UK say that the newly acquired Sheffield laboratory will ‘continue to provide the same exceptional level of service to its clients’, supported by its own UKAS No. 9508- accredited testing, ‘at competitive prices’.
Mark Carnaghan, managing director of Eurofins Food & Water Testing UK, said: “Isopharm has built a reputation as an industry expert in water microbial and chemical testing, providing an extremely high quality of service to healthcare providers. Its dedication to reliable testing aligns with Eurofins’ commitment to high quality and standards for all our customers. We are excited to embrace this team of industry specialists into the Eurofins family.”
Eurofins continues to offer accredited services including water safety, food safety, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability, and purity testing, as well as auditing services, through its expanding network of laboratories across the UK and globally.
