Specialist cleaning machine manufacturer, Eindhoven based i-team Global, say its new Safe-T ‘product family’ is ‘the world’s first’ battery-powered cleanroom floor cleaning range.
It explained: “Combining stringent floor cleaning ability, ergonomic design, and efficient battery systems, these trailblazers transform controlled environments. Industry sectors such as healthcare, high-tech, semiconductors, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and food production, can now meet the required cleanliness standards with less effort.”
i-team Global says that while traditional cleanroom floor cleaning ‘relies heavily on time-consuming and inconsistent manual wiping and mopping’, with powerful mechanical scrubbing, and Ultra-Low Particulate Air (ULPA 15) filtration, the Safe-T machines remove more embedded particles than manual methods, ‘capturing over 99.999% of contaminants as small as 0.1 microns’.
The company said: “When contamination occurs in a cleanroom, production must temporarily halt. The faster the cleaning is completed, the sooner production can resume. The Safe-T systems are intuitive, easy to use, and require minimal training to get started. The range is designed to make cleaning easier and reduce physical strain on operators, with no more dealing with floor cables or searching for power sockets. The lightweight machines – with ergonomic features and intuitive controls – improve both comfort and efficiency, and eliminate single-use mop waste, and water and chemical use.”
Each machine is designed specifically for cleanroom settings, with exhaust output certified to ‘the rigorous ISO standards for these controlled environments’. The three variants are:
- The Safe-T Imop vertical scrubber-dryer for cleanrooms and sticky mats – ISO 5-6.
- The Safe-T-Vac cordless vacuum cleaner – ISO 4-5.
- The SAFE-T-Bot 45 robotic scrubber-dryer – ISO 5.
