The Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) has announced the appointment of Paul Eagle (pictured), Executive Board Technical director at BESA member company, Dalkia UK, as the new Chair of its Technical Committee.
Succeeding Kevin Morrissey, who has recently been appointed as the Association’s new director of Technical, he brings over 25 years’ experience in the building services sector, having held senior engineering and technical leadership roles across the industry. In addition to his current position at Dalkia, Paul is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMgr FCMI), and a Member of both the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (MCIBSE), and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET). BESA said: “His in-depth technical expertise and passion for raising industry standards make him an ideal leader for the Committee during a time of rapid regulatory and technological change.”
Reflecting on his time as Chair, and welcoming his successor, Kevin Morrissey, said: “Serving as Chair of the BESA Technical Committee has been a rewarding experience, and I am confident that Paul Eagle’s leadership will further enhance our technical initiatives. His deep industry knowledge and dedication to excellence will undoubtedly benefit BESA and its members.”
