Medi Cell Solutions have just completed a new Theatre and ward at George Eliot Hospital Nuneaton in just 12 weeks.
The project was facilitated using a modular operating theatre previously sited at Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Oxford and modules previously used as office accommodation.
Medi Cell engineers married the two different types of modular systems to provide a theatre and ward facility in just 12 weeks.
The module layouts were altered to the hospitals desired layout and fully refurbished internally and externally.
By reusing existing modules the hospital managed to save at least half the capital cost of a new installation and clearly demonstrate sustainability by reusing and relocating modular facilities with the Medi Cell Team.
