A presentation by NHS Employers entitled: Looking to the future of the workforce in estates and FM will be among highlights of the 2009 Healthcare Facilities Consortium conference, taking place at Oxford’s Kassam Stadium from 16-17 September.
A focus by solicitors Weightmans on changing legislation in healthcare FM, and a look at the Government-mandated hospital deep clean programme “one year on” by Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals (AHCP) national chair Carina Bale, will also feature. Returning to the same venue as last year’s conference, the “Flourishing FM Conference 2009”will have as its theme “Looking Forward – Building on the past”. Paul Kingsmore, director of Health Facilities Scotland, will give the keynote, discussing “Facilities at the heart of healthcare”, with a response by Mike Mackay, project director at service company Serco.
