powerPerfector, which provides technology that reportedly optimises and improves the incoming electricity voltage for a whole site, in the process reducing energy used and costs by “up to 20%” and maximum demand by “up to 15%”, will describe the technology’s first hospital application in Scotland.
Power savings
Home to the West of Scotland Heart and Lung Centre, the Golden Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank saw its first “powerPerfector” installation a year ago, and the most recent in March this year. powerPerfector is currently half-way through the overall project’s completion at the site. Monitoring undertaken to date indicates that the savings being realised are already “in line with the 10% predicted”.
