Trumpf Medical has re-located its UK head office from Malmesbury to Luton, simultaneously opening an impressive new showroom. Part of a German multinational engineering group, Trumpf Medical’s products include operating tables, ceiling-mounted equipment management systems, and surgical lights.
The company says the new Luton medical technology showroom, which “mimics” a number of hospital environments to showcase Trumpf Medical equipment, is “one of the most comprehensive in the world”. Features include an ICU environment incorporating Trumpf’s new AmbientLine lighting system, and an “operating theatre” equipped both with Trumpf ceiling support systems, operating tables and integrated theatre and critical care technologies, and Trumpf’s award- winning iLEd lighting system (which offers variable colour temperature, shadow correction and an “almost unlimited” lifecycle). The final suite, dedicated to neo-natal care, features TruLight LED surgical lighting. To be staffed by a team of 40, the new facility will enable customers to familiarise themselves with Trumpf Medical products and consider how they might incorporate them into their own healthcare environments.
